Treatment Update and Some Not So Good News

This is definitely one of the harder videos I've had to make. Some good news about the new regimen. Some not so great news about my position at work. Thank you all for the prayers, love, and support.

    I’m so sorry about your job. I kinda know how you feel about leaving your position. I had to give up mine as well. Your coworkers are your family and your job is important to you. But God has a plan for you all is well. Praying for you.

    I usually do not post on here but I had too! You have been the best supervisor I could ever ask for. Kind sweet patient caring. I hate everything that has happened to you. You did not deserve any of this!!! You will be missed up here in the office with us. It will never be the same without you. You were the glue that held us together.     This is such a hard subject to hear. While you might not be in your position, your work family will remain family. Loved you are such a strong advocate for counseling as well. Continuing to pray ❤️

    Hey Christian, you look good! Thanks for this update on your new treatment, that sounds positive. I'm sorry your job has closed, I know that feels sad. This is Dodie in case you don't see that. A lot of these comments are anonymous and I'm not sure why. They don't sound like they wanted to necessarily be anonymous, there just isn't a name with the comments.       Hey Dodie, Thanks for the comment! Yeah we can see it is you. I think it posts as "anonymous" if the person writing the comment isn't logged into their google account like we are. Sometimes they write their name at the end of their post so we know who it is, sometimes not. Thanks for the love and prayers. -Kenny

This is the very hardest one to write. I have written so much on this blog over the past year and a half, just trying to share information with everyone, but now this “cancer story” is coming to a close.    Her story will never come to a close for me. The past week, test & scan Results, preparing for what is next..

It has been almost a week since the last update here. She has had a difficult time, and has shown more signs of decline. There has been high fever every night, very low energy, nausea, abdominal pain, a lot of sleep and no appetite. She took all of the antibiotics that she was prescribed but it did not really change anything. The nausea med (Zofran) has definitely helped, and she has not gotten sick anymore since taking it. We are very thankful for that. We are staying on an 8hr interval with it to stay that way. Since the last post she has also began to have some pretty intense pain in her abdomen. We were no longer able to control it with the natural remedies we have been using, that have worked for the previous month or two. We got a script for some pain medicine. She is taking it on the same 8hr interval as the Zofran and it is managing the pain very well. So pain & nausea are under control for now.
